Cloud One - Dust to Dust from the album Atmosphere Strut

A rare find from the old dusty underground of New York's disco scene. Cloud One is the brainchild of Patrick Adams and Peter Brown. They are probably more well known in the realm of house and techno. But since there was none of that music in the mid 1970s, the music that came out mixed jazz fusion with airy grooves. Here is their song from the ultra-rare Atmosphere Strut album entitled Dust to Dust. The version that I could find is a Kenny Dope edit, but enjoy the music as you write on the blog.

What's On Your Desktop - Samuel Weinstein Part Deux

David Axelrod - Songs of Experience

Another edition of what's on my desktop. This dandy of a record came out in 1969. David Axelrod was a record producer for Capitol Records who produced people like Cannonball Adderley and Lou Rawls. Yes, THE Lou Rawls. Axelrod's music is kinda loungy but his music contains orchestrations with fatback drums. Pretty much a trademark of Mr. Axelrod. A lot of his music was based on his use of Cocaine, but it is brooding thinking man's music. This particular album has the sample Ultramagnetic used for their 1996 song, Industry is Wack. If you are interested check out the song Divine Image for some monster drums with a sinister sounding theme.

What's Your Desktop? - Samuel Weinstein

This Jew knows his records so he put one cover on his Desktop. 'Tis Roy Ayers He's Coming album cover. This record is pretty hard to find, but not too expensive when you do.

This Jew found one in Mint Condition up in Mill Valley a few years ago. It has that famous anthem that many rappers have sampled, We Live in Brooklyn Baby, and a couple of my favorites - Sweet Tears and He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother.

Plus this is the cover that Smif and Wessun copied on their debut, Dah Shinin'.

Sam Weinstein back from an extended stay at the Kabbalah Center in LA. Looking through my collection of Bollywood Movies (Yes, Jews watch the Indians) and came upon some pictures that I would post on a regular basis, but it won't be particularly held to Bollywood queens. In fact, Jews love women of all ethnicities. We are the chosen people.

Take a look at that hotness. She is so babelicious it makes me want to almost convert to Hinduism. I said almost. She has been in so many movies within the past couple years and she has a sexy husky voice which makes me want her to talk dirty to me.
