Street Fighter IV gameplay footage

Here's a quick clip from Gamevideos.com showing off the new art style...(lining up quarters now)

Anti-semites of the Caribbean

The updated Pirates of the Caribbean ride at Disneyland is pretty awesome. Characters from the PotC movies are seen throughout the ride (Jack Sparrow, Barbosa, Davey Jones). The details are amazing and the animatronic characters look real and border on being erie-looking.

The scene shown above is one of the new ones. It's got pirates all lined up along the docks singing, "Yo, ho, ho..." as your boat floats by. It's all very cheery.

One thing that you might miss, however, is what's happening in the background. If you look closely, you'll see buildings are burning--as if the pirates had just pillaged the town (possibly).

On the opposite shore of the above scene (not pictured) there are more pirates singing and more buildings burning. And right before you exit this area, if you look to the burning buildings on the right, you can see a menorah in a window that has been tipped over! Did the pirates just burn up some Jewish family? (someone check to make sure Weinstein is okay...)

It seems like the Imagineers of this new PotC wanted to give a tip of the hat to Walt Disney's darker side...

Christmas Booty

I didn't get much from Santa-san this year...he said its because of "what you do at nite when you think nobody's watching"......not sure what he meant by that but here's what I got this year

the Wii Zapper that came with Link's Crossbow Training and I also got Resident Evil The Umbrella Chronicles and Ghost Squad...and I must say that the Wii Zapper is a complete waste of plastic..it actually makes it HARDER to play Resident Evil and Link's with the damn thing..

Merry Christmas From YODC's East Coast Office

"And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. And the angel said unto them, 'Fear not: for behold, I bring unto you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the City of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.' And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God, and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.'"

That's what Christmas is all about, Charlie Brown.
