The Greatest Staring Contest EVER
I stared at this for a good 30 seconds but then I my head jerked back and I let out a loud primal scream for some reason
Scratching on a budget?
Considering how inexpensive turntables are nowadays, not to mention the availablity of CD players built for scratching, and computer systems like Serato, why in the blue hell would anyone want to try to scratch with a double-well tape deck?
This mofo has a goddamn MacBook, for Chrissakes... surely he can afford two turntables and a mixer and a copy of of Serato to install on the MacBook?

The Queen of Ninja Warrior and YODC(so says SoG)

No, it's not Freefall Jones, it's Ayako Miyake - the pink-haired Japanese pixie that steamrolled the Women of Ninja Warrior (Kunoichi) tournament a ridiculous three times in a row. I'm actually surprised that no one here has mentioned her yet, considering we seem to create a new post every time a Japanese girl takes a deep breath. So I've taken it upon myself to compose this pictorial tribute to Ayako Miyake. We salute you, Queen!

Happy birthday in Vegas! She celebrated by scaling the Stratosphere Hotel in less than 45 seconds.
Oh yeah. That's a keeper.
And if any of you are wondering where I got the pictures (yeah...if you're wondering. Right), Ms. Miyake has a website and a blog. One of us needs to bite the freakin' bullet and learn Japanese already so it can be translated, but there is a nice little English message from our queen in in one of her posts:

Happy Cinco de Mayo to me!
I came into work today expecting the traffic desk to be decorated with balloons, streamers, sombreros and piñatas with a nice card signed by every member of the news department, but instead I found a barren wasteland of a desk waiting for me. "It's still early, they'll probably have something in the break room before I leave."
HOW ABOUT NO.
After trabajo, I headed out to Chevy's to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, that as far as the rest of my co-workers and blogger "amigos" was concerned, never existed.

This Jew was making knishes over this. Geeta Basra was a model from London who decided to be in movies in India because, well, she's hot. She can't act to save her life, but who cares. She was hosting this tv show called Zoom TV, but her hotness has moved her out of the small screen and on to Bollywood. I salute you Geeta Basra!
