"...it’s time to channel your inner 15 year-old Puerto Rican girl with some freestyle."
DJ Ayres (of The Rub fame) wrote an article on the first wave (1985-87) of freestyle music for Fader magazine. Included in the article is a mini-megamix of selected freestyle tracks. Don't front like you never bumped this shit. Article and download can be found here. My only question is: Where the hell is Debbie Deb?

if their isn't one Stevie B. song on that mix..you're not only wasting my time but everybody else's as well...
I think Stevie B was part of the 2nd wave... double check your freestyle record crate, cuz I know you be rockin doubles of "Spring Love."
What are you kidding me? He used to juggle Spring Love at all the gigs. haha.
old skool mix tip of the day: first 20secs or so of Stevie B's "Love me for Life" w/ MC Shy D's "Gotta Be Tough" instrumental..
Wait a second - where does the 10 or 15 seconds of the Imperial March from Empire Strikes Back come in?
Mix tip number 2 Lea Salonga's "We Could Be in Love" with "everlasting Bass" instrumental = a happy ending to your date.
