I feel kind of concerned that my 6-year-old niece taught me who Captain America was. And that she's seen 5 more Star Wars movies than I have. =S

Jeez, Marvel sucks. Not that I cared about Captain America, but it's lame to pull stunts like this just for the quick buck.

Look at Spider-Man, a year ago he was given an "all-new costume" that would change things forever...but after everyone saw how lame the Iron-Spider outfit was--and with a multi-million dollar movie coming out this summer--Spider-Man is back in his classic outfit.

And a few years ago, Marvel had the X-Men give up their costumes and wear uniforms kind of like they had in the movies. Marvel's Editor-In-Chief, Joe Quesada, said at the time that comics were changing and heroes running around in spandex was a dated concept. But pick up any X-book today and you'll see Wolverine running around in yellow spandex.

Oh and don't get me started on how MEGA-LAME it was to have Peter Parker reveal his identity. I wonder how long before some event makes everybody in the Marvel Universe forget?
