Long frilly scarves aren't just practical on cold mornings, they're also very fashionable. A woman can highlight an outfit with the appropriate scarf.
Take, for instance, the woman I saw this morning while walking to the office. I only saw her from behind, but I could tell her long pink scarf went well with her smart business/casual attire.
How did I know this? Because apparently one end of her scarf had made it's way between her legs as she was walking, and (from behind) it looked like the little frilly ends were coming out of her butt.
...at least I hope those were little frilly scarf ends.
