Too Much Honesty?

Scenario: You're an aspiring male "film" star. Emphasis on "aspiring": besides talking it up, the only progress you've made is submitting an application. No actual work yet, but it isn't for a lack of want. It's a long sought-after dream of yours....the same way some kids want to be a pro athlete or an astronaut. You're also single up to this point.

You meet a girl. The 2 of you hit it off immediately, & it doesn't take a many dates for you to become exclusive. Whether it's a result of the chemistry or the reason for it, you find yourself very comfortable around her.....like you can tell her anything.

If you're not an upfront & honest person, please imagine you are: Would you tell your girl about your "film" aspirations? For the sake of argument, let's not assume the whole "I have a girl so I'm fulfilled now" bullshit is a factor. That'd be an easy out.

I was just curious. No it is not my real-life dilemma.

why wouldn't you tell her about your aspirations is the first question?..seriously..if the relationship is as "serious" as you say,why the fear of "sharing your dreams" with your significant other....if anything, wouldn't you think the "lady of your life" would be more than supportive..unless you're baboon ass ugly and have as much talent as Michael Rapaport then you SHOULD keep your acting dreams to yourself..

And by "film" do you mean "gay cinema"?

Then, no. You shouldn't say anything.

...especially to us.

you know..I just noticed that the word FILM was in quotations..so..in my previous post..please substitute the words "lady of your life" for "significant other" or "life partner"...thank you..
