Today G4 aired all 4 episodes of Women of Ninja Warrior #7.
Man, stage 1 looked like it was 10x more difficult. Only 4 women made it to stage 2 and only 1 made it through to stage 3. Ayako Miyake fell into the water at the final obstacle of stage 2, the only time she's ever failed at any Ninja Warrior obstacle.
What does this mean for YODC? Will she stop driving traffic to the site? Probably not, but I think it's time we find ourselves a new Queen. She wasn't that hot anyway.

jesus christ!!...we got over 600 hits on the blog so far today and its only 9pm..and yes all but a few came from google searches of "Women of Ninja Warrior" or "Ayako Miyake"
holy shit. two days in a row at over 600 hits. from now on every entry starts with either "ayako miyake" or "women of ninja warrior".
Until someone else topples the course, she's still the queen. She smashed through the new Stage 1 like it was nothing. The announcer said she won the whole thing an "unprecedented" three times in a row. It's unprecedented to do it even ONE time. No other woman has ever done it. I have no doubt that she'll be back.

miyake is a gleaming example of human ability. it is a shame that such beauty in nature would be thought of in such asinine perspectives. everyday automatons should idolize her and people like her.
