You missed the point of my post as much as Michael Bay missed the point with "Pearl Harbor".
Transformers never made it onto regular TV when I was a kid. Only people with those big old satelites could see it :(

Craig -- at least Marvel UK continued to publish the Transformers comic book long after it was cancelled here in America. ...oh wait...we should probably apologize for that.
Anime just sort of emerged here (in movie form) when I was a teenager.GI Joe was just a toy here.Robotech, Voltron, Speed Racer, Battle of the Planets... nope.Ultraman I saw! Once! In a Godzilla film :)...Or should I apologise for Marvel UK? hehe
No apologies needed Craig...but you do owe me some money for Death's Head.
